Description

IndySoft uniquely identifies estimates in the database through estimate numbers. If you ever need to create an estimate manually through custom script code, this function will give you the next work order number in line. Or, if you are using an Auto-launch rule to create a new estimate, use this function to create an Estimate Number that can be used to set your event-level Job Number field. These estimate numbers are maintained on the database level through stored procedures (MSSQL and Oracle) or triggers (Firebird).
